Korey Austin Ruark is an Executive Recruiter for the Energy division, specializing in recruiting professionals for power plants throughout the country. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Integrated Studies from the University of Central Florida. Austin was drawn to recruiting by the opportunity to interact with different people every day and help candidates find jobs that can change their lives.
One of Austin’s proudest professional accomplishments was making his first three placements in the same week. His career has taught him the importance of keeping a level head and not becoming too affected by the highs and lows. Motivated by his family, Austin approaches life with the belief that everything happens for a reason.
Outside of work, Austin enjoys sports, boating, and fitness. His favorite way to unwind is driving with the windows down and the music turned up, and one of his most memorable vacations was a trip to the Florida Keys. He also gives back through coastal restoration volunteering. If he were not working in recruiting, Austin would enjoy being a charter boat captain.
